After the 15 round games, the top 2 teams play in the final for the Around the Campfire Cup at 5pm.

As a celebration to the day we are very lucky to have rising Aboriginal star Emily Wurramara, and iconic Aboriginal singer/songwriter Frank Yamma play for us straight after the carnival presentations. Natasha Wanganeen will be the MC for the evening.

Teams playing will be Adelaide University FC, Central Australian Pinktails, Woodville West Torrens Eagles FC, Australian Defence Force (ADF) Guyala women's from across Australia, Morphetville Park FC, SA Aboriginal All Star women and Port Adelaide Women's FC.

Our opening ceremony at 9.30am is something spectacular. Being led by Senior Kaurna Custodian Karl Winda Telfer who presents a Greeting to Country, before Yellaka - Old Wisdom, New Ways, comprising of young Aboriginal men and women performed traditional and contemporary dance. Karl and Yellaka involve the 6 teams in the inspiring traditional ceremony to begin the carnival. The aim is to educate and inspire non-Indigenous people playing or spectating, reconnect and show respect to Indigenous people present.

As part of the ADF Guyala women’s team there will be women from the Tiwi Islands involved as part of an ADF Leadership Program. Karl and Yellaka will invite the Tiwi Island women to perform their own cultural women’s dance.

The day will be hosted by joint Master of Ceremonies, AFLW ambassador and Marngrook host Shelley Ware, and ex-Sydney Swans footballer now global media personality Troy Gray. There will also be a DJ playing tunes all day during breaks in the football.

Port Adelaide gourmet food trucks will be available all day offering many different food options. The Port Club will be providing food and beverage also.
