The ARLF Gala Dinner is the premier annual event on the ARLF calendar. The event is a culmination of a week-long focus on regional, rural and remote Australia in Canberra and the theme of the 2019 Gala Dinner is ‘People are the Difference’. This celebration provides the ARLF with an opportunity to acknowledge outstanding contributions, celebrate the ongoing commitment of regional leaders, reflect on achievements, and share stories.

A vital facet of leadership is to be open to a diversity of views, perspectives and experiences.  In this vain, the ARLF takes this opportunity to engage in a wider conversation around regional opportunities, challenges and ideas.

Keynote speaker Deng Adut will challenge perceptions and share experiences of how remarkable leadership can emerge from great adversity.

The inaugural alumni scholarship recipient Yola Bakker looks forward to sharing her experience and thanking fellow alumni for their support.

The ARLF Gala Dinner brings together guests from across rural and regional industries and communities including; program participants and their guests, alumni, board members, corporate sponsors, government representatives and philanthropic supporters.
