2019 Laurie Fisher Medal: Owls Rugby Presentation Night
Event description
It is our great pleasure to announce the premier event on the Owls' season calendar, the 2019 Laurie Fisher Medal presentation evening. The Lotus Room at the Casino Canberra will play host on Saturday 24 August, the week following the John I Dent Cup competition grand final series. Please arrive from 5:30pm for a commencement of proceedings from 6:00pm sharp. The dress code is Formal Attire.
The evening is an opportunity to celebrate another fantastic season at the Owls, congratulate our team and individual award winners and thank the many supporters, sponsors and volunteers that continue to do so much for our great club. A full list of awards below.
Make sure you secure your tickets early as we do have limited numbers:
Full Package Ticket ($100) - this ticket includes 2-course meal and 4-hour drinks package.
There will be a range of entertainment throughout the evening, including the acoustics our very own 3rd Grade Manager Jacob Maloney, a video highlights package from the season and of course the club song!

Can I bring my partner and/or family?
We are an inclusive club and consider your family a part of the Owls too! Please encourage them to attend and join in the celebrations.
How do I reserve a table?
Tables seat 10 people. First book your tickets and let president@owlsrugby.com know you want a table and advise who else will be on the table. Encourage others to book their tickets as well.
When is the last day I can purchase a ticket?
We must have final numbers to the venue a week in advance, so ticket sales will close at 2:00pm, Friday 16 August 2019.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No. You will be checked in at the door. All tickets must be pre-purchased - there will be no tickets available on the day.
What happens after the event?
For those who are not satisfied with just the presentation night are welcome to join in heading back to our second home, The RUC. We are in the process of organising transport between the Casino to The RUC and will keep guests informed.
