As our last event of 2019, Melbourne SOUP is bringing you a screening of the documentary '2040'. Come join us for a presentation summing up the first year of SOUP, and our plans for the next year of events.
2040 emphasises the urgent need for climate action without adopting the doom and gloom tactics commonly used by the media. Instead it showcases that there is room for a different story on climate change, one that focuses on the solutions available to us today. Put simply, the film illustrates what the world would like in 2040 if we just embraced the best that's available today.
All profits on the night will go towards Melbourne SOUP.
Who is Melbourne SOUP?
We host SOUP events that bring people together from across Melbourne that are interested in doing good. At our events 4 residents of Melbourne present their socially/environmentally beneficial idea, and our attendees enjoy a bowl of soup and live music while voting for one of the presenters. Whether you want to pitch an idea, or you just want to be apart of the conversation, we welcome everybody with open arms to our presentation nights.

Event Details:
We'll have a short presentation beforehand from the Melbourne SOUP team wrapping up. The film will commence at 7.30pm.
The event will be hosted at The Backlot Studios, Southbank.
