The 34nd Illawarra Folk Festival is 4 exciting summer days of folk, world, roots, bluegrass, gypsy and celtic music and poetry, comedy and dance thrown in for good measure.
The festival has long attracted international and national performers, who have helped establish it firmly on the national music calendar.
Set in the spectacular northern Illawarra Escarpment, enjoy more than 170 acts performing at 500 events over four days.... the largest folk festival in NSW.
There's superb music, a colourful array of international food stalls, festival bar, craft stalls and on-site camping.
Be inspired and involved. Book into the 2 Day Folk Music School as well and hone your musical talents!
Have fun with friends - camp onsite. Plenty of carparking onsite or come on special Music Train from Sydney.
ILLAWARRA FOLK CLUB
The Illawarra Folk Club, established in 1980, is a non profit incorporated association of local musicians, dancers, storytellers, poets and culturally minded folk, who have presented The Illawarra Folk Festival (Bulli) now in it's 34th year and the Folk by the Sea Festival, Kiama now in it's 6th year. Monthly concerts are also presented throughout the year in Wollongong and Kiama.
