DAY 1
VEDIC MATHEMATICS

RAPID MENTAL CALCULATION or SPEED MATHS.
Vedic speed maths is the ancient art of rapid mental calculation. An understanding of Vedic maths can connect your right and left brain hemispheres for optimum brain power, and support individuals to access higher knowledge. For students, Vedic Maths offers the leading edge in exams, allowing calculations to be made quickly without the use of an electronic calculator. In fact, you can learn 2 years worth of Times Tables in 15 minutes using the ‘Magic Fingers‘ Technique!
In this workshop, participants will learn some of the 16 vedic Sutras that solve mathematics in seconds, allowing any individual to become a human bio-calculator and behave like a genius. These skills enhance memory power and mathematical confidence, build the mental muscle, self-esteem, and the inner mental screen.
Workshop facilitator Jain advocates for the increased use of the human brain as a calculator rather than the use of the electronic calculator to prevent brain atrophy.

DAY 2
THE ART OF NUMBER
DATE: 24 February 2019 - from 10am to 5pm
COST: $240 per day or $400 for both days

THE TRANSLATION OF NUMBER INTO SACRED SYMBOL AND ART
Participants will discover the hidden beauty of mathematics, translating numbers into art in such wonders as the Prime Number Cross (worn by Queen Elizabeth 2nd!) and exploring divine proportions through beautiful images such as the Sunflower Floret.
Learn the history, derivation and origin of the agent mathematical symbols still used today, such as the infinity symbol, and the 5 pointed star, in an engaging and thought provoking educational presentation. Other designs and sequences that will be explored are the Binary Code, the beautiful 7-Circuit Labyrinth, and the Unicursal Hexagram.
Participants will also develop Atomic Art (also known as Vedic Squares) by reducing the common multiplication table into single digits, developing the atomic structure of the platinum crystal. Finally, participants will exotic patterns from Magic Squares, and building an understanding of the relationship between the ‘Doubling Sequence’ and the ‘ Binary Code’ in the 9 Point Circle.
