Graphic design is managed by three main adobe programs. 

Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. 

Whether you want to use these programs for fun or work a thorough understanding of them will help you achieve the results you need. 

This workshop aims to provide a brief introduction to the many elements of Photoshop: 

An explanation of the Photoshop environment and the chance to manipulate pixel based images to achieve a graphic ready result. 

Students will learn the basics of Photoshop including adjusting skin tones, working with layers, use of the liquify tool, transforming and saving work. 

Students will create a magazine cover. 

About the trainer: 

Xavier Beau-Davis has an extensive training and teaching background. 

He has taught in varied environments from corporate to univerisity including TAFE and private colleges. 

He has worked for the last 20 years in the graphic design industry in both print and multimedia and successfully runs his own agency.
