Amundsen strives to innovate, be creative and create world class beers from only the finest ingredients. Their international team packs decades of combined experience and stand by every single product that leaves the brewery doors. As Oslo´s largest brewery and one of Norways fastest growing breweries, Amundsen has grown and evolved organically. Beginning on a 5hL brew pub in 2011, the team at Amundsen had grown into a brand new 3500m2 42HL brewplant by 2016.
THE BEERS
APOCALYPTIC THUNDER JUICE - New England IPA Apocalyptic Thunder Juice is made to be enjoyed as the last beer you will ever have. A celebration to the end of time. The one you have waited your whole life for. We bring praise to the New England style of IPA in the race for the freshest IPA. We bring you our version, cloudy, dank and juicy. It will make you feel alive as the world is crashing down around you. Grab a seat, watch the world burn and listen to "REM - It's the end of the world as we know it". Ingredients: water, Pilsener malt, flaked oats, lactose, Mosaic hops, yeast.
BROWN CHEESE AND WAFFLES - A collaboration with Other Half Brewing (NYC) resulted in this huge 8.5% ABV Double IPA. Using only Citra hops (but a metric F*ck Tonne) combined with a malt base of Pilsner, Carapils and Flaked Oats result in a hazy brew with Citra the star of the show.
LUSH RASPBERRY AND LIME BERLINER - Lush is your happy place, a place where our imaginations can run free. A rich berry pink explosion rounded off with the sour tang of refreshing lime. When you close your eyes you can see the first rays of Spring appearing in your collective minds. Lush is a kettle sour.
RAINBOW POTION MANGO PINEAPPLE AND GINGER SOUR - A collaborstion with Basqueland Brewing (USA) this fruit bomb comes in at 6%. Rainbow Potion is a tart fruit coktail of a beer that belies it's high ABV. A refreshing, tart tropical pool side brew!
PILLARS OF LIGHT PINA COLADA MILKSHAKE IPA - Pillars of light is a small series produceD throughout 2019. Mixing up fruit and flavour to create a new milkshake experience every few months. This version has truckloads of Mango and vanilla with a pollowy mouthfeel and creamy texture
