The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) will be hosting the 18th Asia-Pacific Vibration Conference (APVC 2019) in Sydney from the 18th - 21st November 2019. We are proud to invite engineers, scientists and students from the Asia Pacific region and elsewhere to share their latest vibration related scientific research as well as industrial developments and applications.
This conference provides an opportunity for researchers with a lifetime of experience and knowledge, students just beginning their research career, and everyone in between, to share their cutting-edge research, discuss new theories and to explore the latest technology. We hope that from this lively exchange of ideas and different perspectives many new research directions and collaborations will ensue and that new friendships will develop and old friendships will be renewed and strengthened.
Conference attendees will be able to tour the sites of Sydney including walks around the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Sydney Opera House and the historic Rocks area, or take a ferry ride on the beautiful Sydney harbour to Taronga Zoo, Manly beach or Luna Park. Explore Sydney’s bars, cafes and restaurants and experience the culture and nightlife of this lively cosmopolitan city. For those wanting to venture a little further, day trips are possible to the Blue Mountains in Sydney’s west for bushwalking and sightseeing or to the Hunter Valley north of Sydney to taste the vast range of wines they have to offer.
