Arduino basics
Event description
Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. It is used by children, hobbyists, artists, and programmers around the world to rapidly prototype a technology idea, be it a delivery robot, a weather station, or a light exhibit at Vivid Sydney.
In this workshop, you’ll learn all about Arduino boards and its ability to read from input sensors like a button, a temperature sensor or a Twitter message. You’ll create a circuit that connects these sensors with an LED light or motor, then use programming logic to activate them. Don’t just be a user, be a maker!
