Brilliant Women Global is driving the diversity and inclusion agenda, featuring women in leadership.

The ASX will be hosting Brilliant Women Global in Sydney 21st November.

Jodie Hampshire Managing Director Australia at Russell Investments, and Julia Lee Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Burman Invest will be sharing their amazing personal stories of adversity and diversity in the corporate world.

Jodie leads the Australian business of a global investment manager and parents 4 children, 3 adopted from Sierra Leone. Jodie was diagnosed with breast cancer just as she stepped into a business leadership role 6 years ago and speaks openly about personal and career resilience and bringing open and wholehearted leadership to work. Jodie will share her story covering; “what kind of leader do I wish to be”?

Julia started her career in financial markets 20 years ago and is one of Australia’s best known financial experts providing financial commentary across various media outlets including SKY News, CNBC, ABC and Sunrise. Following a successful career as an Equities Strategist with Bell Direct for 11 years and frequent speaker at industry conferences, she is starting her own investment management firm, Burman Invest.

Tiffany Cherry is our moderator.

Tiffany is the first female AFL boundary commentator and one of the original faces of Fox Footy Host of the summer and Winter Olympics for Foxtel, SportsCenter for ESPN and report for CNN. She is Multimedia Executive of Richmond Football Club and a member of Richmond’s Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan committee. She is Founder and Chair of Richmond’s Environmental Action Committee .

Tiffany will facilitate the Q&A panel conversation, and share her story focusing on the future of women in leadership and how organisations can support female leaders.
