To do a thorough literature search on your topic, you need to develop a great search strategy. Learn how a systematic search strategy can help you more efficiently find resources on your topic.

This hands-on workshop will show you how to:
- Be methodical, organised and systematic in your literature searching,
- Break down your research topic into key concepts,
- Turn your key concepts into search terms and alternative terms (synonyms)
- Develop your search strategy using Boolean operators,
- Use key databases to locate journal articles on your topic,
- Modify your search strategy when things don’t go according to plan,
- Save your searches,
- Locate highly cited articles in your research area,
- Request resources using InterLibrary Loans.
