Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Social Traders has decided to postpone the networking event scheduled for March 26th until further notice. We are primarily concerned with the need to protect stakeholders and staff. We will notify all stakeholders of revised arrangements in due course.

Event description

Social Traders has been working to facilitate deals between our Social Traders business and government members and certified social enterprise members since 2015. Over that time, the networking events have proven to be very effective at creating new and valuable connections.

Open to Social Traders business and government members and all certified social enterprises, this structured networking event is a chance for you to identify new relevant contacts and re-engage previous ones.

This event includes structured networking and an informal lunch.

Please ensure that at least two representatives from your organisation attend so that you can meet all of the social enterprises in the room.

10:30am - 10:50am: REGISTRATION

10:50am - 11:10am: PRESENTATIONS FROM THE HOSTS

11:10am - 12.35pm: STRUCTURED NETWORKING

Following brief introductions around the table, social enterprises will each have an opportunity to do a short pitch. This is followed by a more in depth discussions between business, government and social enterprise representatives to help everyone identify the most relevant connections to be further developed.

12:35pm - 1:15pm: INFORMAL NETWORKING & LUNCH

In the interests of minimising potential health risks for all attendees, if you are not feeling well or have recently travelled to any country considered Higher and Moderate risk by the Australian Government, Social Traders asks that you exercise extra caution before registering for a Social Traders’ event.

Australian Government Department of Health has advised good personal hygiene remains the most effective way to avoid COVID-19 infection, including:

· Regular hand-washing with soap and water;

· Covering of the mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing;

· Avoiding close personal contact with other participants 

Social Traders are continuing to monitor the situation and will respond accordingly to advice from Governments and the Department of Health.
