10th Birthday Meetup - Melbourne Agile and Scrum User Group

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

The first Melbourne Agile and Scrum User Group happened in November 2008. This day will be a celebration of this, to share and reflect on the last 10 years and the next 10 years. Organisers are Ed Wong, and Craig Brown, with special co-curator, Martin Kearns (the founder of the meetup).

====================
The plan for the day is to start at 10am and run a series of talks and workshops throughout the day reflecting on what we have learned on our agile journey and where we think Agile and Scrum are going in the ten years ahead.

The day will alternate between a series of short talks (10 mins) by people who have presented or run sessions at meetups from the past decade. We will be inviting someone from each year since 2008 to 2018 to check in and share what they have learned since they first presented to the group.

We will be mixing up these talks with some reflective sessions and games to keep things interactive and energetic.

And we will be closing the day with a Futurespective on where Scrum and Agile might be heading and what things might look like in 2028.
