Blast Camp 2019
Blast Camp 2019 is almost here! It will be a fun weekend hanging out together, eating and playing games, getting to know each other better—and learning great things about God! This year we're going to be looking at the book of Psalms, and what it teaches us about praying to God. Children in years 3-6 are invited to attend the whole camp, while years 1-2 are invited to join us for 'Super Saturday'.
Who: Blast Camp - School years 3-6. Super Saturday - years 1-6.
When: Years 3-6 will meet at Aldgate Memorial Hall at 2pm Friday 11th October to head to camp by bus, and will return by 11am Sunday 13th October to Aldgate Memorial Hall.
Yrs 1-2 (and those who don’t want to sleep over) can meet at West Beach Parks anytime from 7.30am Saturday 7th to join the Years 3-6 for the day, and be picked up by 7.00pm.
Where: West Beach Parks, Military Road, West Beach.
What: Join us as we look at the book of Psalms, and what it teaches us about praying to God. There will be singing, games, small groups and movies. We will also be making use of the playground, jumping pillow, basketball court, walking to the beach and for overnight campers participating in night activities.
Celebration Sunday: Full time campers will be returning on Sunday 13th October in time for the Trinity Church Aldgate 11am morning service. Parents and families are invited to join us for church as we wrap up camp. After church there will be a free sausage sizzle and children’s activities.
Cost: Early Bird - Full time Camper - $100, Super Saturday Camper - $35 (Friday 20nd September).
Late - Full time Camper - $100, Super Saturday Camper - $35 (Friday 4th October).
Cost includes all accommodation, food, activities, transport and a camp t-shirt. We do not want the cost to prevent children from attending, therefore family and personal discounts are available. Please speak to Mark.
Bring: Clothes, toiletries, pyjamas, shoes, thongs, pillow, sheet, sleeping bag, Bible (if you have one) and pen.
Other: Blast Camp and Super Saturday are a ministry of Trinity Church Aldgate and is under the direction of Mark Curran who is the Associate Pastor. The camp is staffed by Blast leaders and church parents all whom conform to child protection protocols. The ratio of leaders is approximately 4:1.

Yes. Children in Years 3-6 can attend as Super Saturday Campers and attend Celebration Sunday. Please indicate that your child will be a Super Saturday Camper when registering.

Super Saturday campers are welcome to meet us at West Beach, though we will be in touch closer to the date to arrange car pooling options.
Will my child be swimming?
No. We will not be using the onsite pool and while we will be walking to the beach and playing beach games, children will not be swimming.
My child is a Super Saturday camper, can they come to Celebration Sunday?
Yes. All children and families are welcome to join us at Trinity Church Aldgate 11am service for the post-camp celebration.
