Boxing Fund Raiser
Event description
Join us for fight night where 30 amateur Male & Female Combatants get into the ring and fight for our struggling current and former servicemen, women and their families.
Some of these competitors have never boxed and will each undertake their own personal journey of strength, courage and mateship. After 12 week of training, they will test themselves and their opponent in the ring, demonstrating what can be achieved through the power of sport and comraderie.
With the Invictus Games to be held in Sydney this October, they will showcase the power of recovery through sport. This boxing event will be a legacy of these Games supporting our local military veteran community.
The funds generated from this Boxing fundraiser will be used to facilitate adaptive sports pathways as an avenue to rehabilitation for transitioning and former military members.
This program will be in collaboration with Fitness First, Homes for Heroes and RSL Active. The funds raised will be managed locally by the Veterans Centre Sydney Northern Beaches, for local veterans.
We will also have some amazing prizes to win on the night, and in collaboration with our friends at Northern Beaches Harley Davidson, you have the chance to win your very own 2018 Street 500 Harley Davidson!
The event is fully sanctioned and regulated by Combat Sports Aust.
