Event description

Brisbane it's time to get your chilli on once again!  Body and Soul Australia Events and Entertainment are again bringing Briz Chilli Fest to life so Brisbane can have its very own chilli festival.

Once again we have chosen Cystic Fibrosis Queensland as our charity partner, so please come along and help us raise some much-needed money for the sufferers of this insidious disease.

This year even more chilli food eating competitions, so look out for the Facebook registration page for those events - BRIZ CHILLI FEST EATING COMPETITIONS - and register via Humanitix also.

Held at the beautiful waterside location at Waterfront Park, Newstead, this year's BrizChilli Fest will again focus on community engagement and lots and lots of chilli products and chilli-themed foods.  Of course the non-chilli-heads will have plenty of choice too from our select array of food providers on the day.

It's a great day for families - bring a picnic rug, find a spot and relax in our very large grass licensed area.  Kids can visit the animal nursery, go crazy on the jumping castle, have their face painted or just play on the huge playground adjacent to the festival site. Unlimited pass-outs.

Ladies enjoy the fabulous chilli cocktails and of course we'll be having chilli beer on tap.

We may get a visit from a couple of crazy Mexican wrestling types in costume - so make sure your phone is charged up and ready to snap away.   We'll be giving away a hamper of goodies for the best snap of the day on Instagram.

Joining us all the way from Nevada in the USA will be Johnny Scoville - the global hot product reviewer of some reknown.  Join Johnny on stage for a chilli face-off if you dare!

The big-hearted fellas from Viking Breed Motorcycle Club will again be there to help Cystic Fibrosis fund-raising by auctioning off a bunch of pillion rides so you can be VIKING FOR A DAY -on festival day!

Because we love Aussie things, we'll be hosting the Brisbane Commodore Car Club again.

There'll be more things added all the time to the program, so Like our FB page and event URL and you'll stay in the loop right up to the day.
