Compassion in Politics - Town Hall Talk
Event description
COMPASSION IN POLITICS – TOWN HALL TALK
Can a new kind of politics, with a new set of values at the heart of decision-making create cities in which people better care for one another, improve quality of life, and protect the natural world?
Hear Jennifer Nadel address these issues in her role as co-founder of the UK's Compassion in Politics. Jennifer is also a qualified barrister, author, political strategist and award-winning journalist, who has reported for the BBC, Channel 4 and ITN from around the world.
Her most recent film told the story of Grenfell survivors still living in hotels. She has also stood for the UK Parliament twice, and her latest book,
WE: A manifesto for women everywhere, co-authored with the actress Gillian Anderson, is a guide to living a compassionate life and a Sunday Times bestseller
This event is open to the public for the ticketed price. It is also included as part of the 2019 Mindful Futures Network Conference to be held on 14 and 15 November at the same venue. Registration for the conference is available here.
