Learn how to make a Tongue Drum with Robert Towler. Timber Tongue Drums are small wooden boxes with tone wood tops like African Paduak and Southern American Purpleheart cut into slender tongues that produce a gentle musical sound when played with soft wooden beaters.

Learn how to prepare the drum making timber, assemble, tune and make the beaters. Participants just need to drop past and speak to Robert about a time that suits during the day.
