Penny’s start in cheese was with Milawa Cheese Company, back in 2004. We’d love to introduce you to where we fell in love with cheese too. Milawa Cheese set up their factory just down road from the family owned Brown Brothers winery... it was a strategic manoeuvre.
Joining us for the event will be David Brown, founder of Milawa Cheese Company (and Penny’s “cheese dad”) and Andrew Harris from Brown Brothers winery whose knowledge of all things Brown Brothers is vast.
We will taste cheese, try some wine and hear about the past, present and future of both family owned and operated companies.
Come and learn about matching cheese and wine, what works and what doesn’t.
There will be some classic matches, we might even mention the word terroir...
