Suitable for first or second year HDR students.
Prerequisite: completed Course 1: Foundational Issues in Qualitative Research
This course provides students with fundamental knowledge of three common methods of data collection. Students will design and execute a research instrument appropriate for their research project, then write a short reflection report on the execution and appropriateness of their instrument. They will discuss the reports in the final week:

Is there a sign in sheet on arrival?
Yes. Please ensure that you sign the registration sheet on arrival.
What if I can no longer attend, do I need to cancel?
Yes. Please contact the Researcher Development team at grs_rd@uts.edu.au for workshop cancellation.
If you fail to cancel your registration and are absent three or more times in a session, you will be suspended from the program for 1 year. You will be notified by email prior to your suspension being applied.
How will I know the location for this event if it is not confirmed yet?
You will be sent a reminder email approximately one week prior to the workshop. This will include the workshops location, date, time and anything you may need to know prior to the workshop.
