Join CWA Rockingham's Crafty Girl Gang for a day of creativity with a group of modern and inclusive women. Bring your own project or join in on our workshop. Either way, plan for a relaxing day filled with fun, crafty vibes.

BYO LIST

·Craft supplies/projects

·Lunch (or pop out to a cafe - we always recommend Jaffelato)

·Plate of morning/afternoon tea to share.

·Crockery & cutlery. NO SINGLE USE PLASTICS please. We will provide napkins and tea/coffee mugs.

MEALS

·Bring a plate of food to share for morning/afternoon tea. Homemade goods are well received.

·BYO lunch (there is an oven & microwave) or pop out to a cafe within 2 minutes walking distance.

·Tea (inc herbal), coffee, hot chocolate & cow’s & soy milk provided.

GENERAL INFORMATION

·There is a commercial kitchen available for use at no extra charge. Please book a free ticket for kitchen use. (This is for bulk cooking only. All attendees have access to the kitchen for re-heating meals).

·There will be optional workshops you can book in for if you wish. Workshop fees are additional to Day Retreat fees.

·Bring some cash for raffles and our Bring & Buy table. Donations for both are graciously received.

·Attendees are welcome to come and go as they please between 8am-6pm.

·Please be advised that pack up will begin at 6pm and the building must be vacated by 6:30pm.

·There is Loading Bay access available between 8am-9am. Please refer to map.

·Lots of local free parking available. Please refer to map.

TABLE ALLOCATION

·You can choose to have 1 table with power or sit at a shared round table. Please choose the appropriate ticket choice for your needs. If you are attending in groups, please arrive early to claim your tables together. Extra tables may be available on the day to extend your workstation.

WORKSHOPS

Why not put your own projects to the side and learn something new. Workshops will be facilitated by our CWA Rockingham members.

9am-11am: Christmas Stocking Workshop

Cost: $40 per person with fabric included or $25 to BYO fabric.

Join experienced seamstress Lindsay Vidler for a workshop where you will learn how to sew your own Christmas Stocking just in time to whip a few up for family and friends for Christmas. This workshop is suitable for beginners.

What to bring:
• fabric (if you have chosen the BYO ticket option) 60cm exterior fabric, 40cm lining fabric, 30cm or fat quarter cuff fabric
·An iron and ironing board will be available though will be shared by all participants so feel free to BYO.
·Sewing machine
·fabric scissors or cutting mat and small rotary cutter (there will be some to share on the day)

MEMBERSHIP

If you would like to become a member the only requirement is the ability to attend monthly evening meetings. The cost is $65p/a (though now $32.50 for the rest of the year) and can be paid via our website. If you are unable to commit to monthly evening meetings you can become an Associated Member of CWA of WA for $80pa. Please e-mail us for more details.
