Mental health conditions cost Australian businesses $13 billion annually through absenteeism, decreased productivity and support services. Corporate Australia is beginning to see the opportunity in addressing this important social issue, and indeed the risk of not doing so.

The Shared Value Project has partnered with AIA Australia, IAG, NAB, PwC and SuperFriend to conduct research into the business imperative to improve mental health in Australia, through the creation of shared value.

Hear from industry leaders including The Hon Martin Foley MP, Victorian Minister for Mental HealthAllan Fels AO, Commissioner on the Victorian Royal Commission into Mental Health; Damien Angus, Partner, PwC; Margo Lydon, CEO, SuperFriend ; Lee McDougall, Executive Manager, Shared Value Strategy & Projects, IAG; Candice Smith, Head of Wellness, AIA and Helen Steel, CEO, Shared Value Project as we launch this crucial report in Melbourne Friday 4 October.

The report will provide insight into how companies can gain a competitive advantage by proactively addressing, rather than simply managing, the mental health challenges faced by employees, customers and communities.
