UTS is undertaking a number of social distancing initiatives informed by NSW Health. In view of the advice that internal gatherings should be limited, we are not able to run face-to-face workshops as scheduled. Therefore, most
GRS workshops will be offered remotely as a webinar via Zoom. Meeting link and ID are provided below:

If you need help to join a Zoom meeting, please follow the steps:

1. Follow the meeting link to enter the meeting.

2. Navigate to the UTS Zoom site. Sign in using your UTS credentials.

3. Select ‘Join a meeting’ from the top navigation menu.

4. Enter the meeting ID into the text box. Select ‘Join’.

5. You will enter the meeting when the Zoom application launches.

    Research Ethics - This session will help you navigate the research ethics application process at UTS. Find out about UTS’s policies and guidelines, and how to complete our new online risk assessment in ResearchMaster. Plus tips and tricks to get your ethics application approved quickly.

    Data Management - Manage your research data with ease using our insider tips, tricks and practical advice! You will learn how to get started with standard data management software such as Stash, Cloudstor and eNotebooks. We will also explain University data management policy, and highlight how some of this stuff can actually make your life a bit easier.

    FAQ'S

    What if I can no longer attend, do I need to cancel?

    Yes. Please contact the Researcher Development team at grs_rd@uts.edu.au for workshop cancellation.

    If you fail to cancel your registration and are absent three or more times in a session, you will be suspended from the program for 1 year. You will be notified by email prior to your suspension being applied.

    How will I know the location for this event if it is not confirmed yet?

    You will be sent a reminder email approximately one week prior to the workshop. This will include the workshops location, date, time and anything you may need to know prior to the workshop.
