Veteran Brisbane beatmaker and DJ Able2 represents a significant portion of Brisbane's hip-hop scene and bridges the gap between boom-bap influenced acts of the 2000's and the new wave which has made Brisbane such an exciting city for hip-hop in Australia. Expect Able's set to be filled with a roster of emcees that Able has collaborated with to date, as well as hints at what's still to be released.

BLACK ORCHIDS
Having only performed under the current alias since July 2018, Black Orchids has accumulated an impressive list of accolades including an East Coast tour supporting Ivan Ooze, performing opening slots for US artist Xavier Wulf and more. The music is as claustrophobic as it is immersive and will convert even skeptics of contemporary Soundcloud trap.

MC Synergy delivers smart, thoughtful and super-lyrical tracks over smooth instrumentals heavy influenced by 90s classics. Collaborator, Butta offers a hard, gritty partnership which at first seems diametrically opposed but fits like a glove.

Newcomer, Nurcha has been dropping raw, confessional one takes throughout 2019 and promises to deliver high energy for his live set. Nurcha doesn't have a massive catalogue or following yet, but hearing his music, it's obvious that's he as hungry as he is talented.
