Green roofs and walls could be the solution of choice under the new Planning and Design Code. Are you and your staff across the design, construction and maintenance features that will support successful green roof and wall projects?

If not, join us to learn key design, construction and maintenance techniques used for projects including:

  • Adelaide Zoo entry wall and green roof
  • ANZ House research green roof (Adelaide)
  • Coal Loader North Sydney (green roof stormwater treatment)
  • Mount Gambier Art Gallery green wall and proposed roof wetland
  • Uno Apartments (Adelaide) documentation

And over lunch we will explore Adelaide Zoo's green roof under the guidance of Zoos SA General Manager of Operations, Jeff Lugg, who oversaw the installation of the Adelaide Zoo's green roof and wall.

During the afternoon's hands-on design workshop, our three highly experienced trainers will provide personal support as you learn to integrate the green roof/walls design with the construction design of the building development to develop a wholistic approach for this project. You will develop a green roof and green wall, including a small wetland for cleaning wastewater, enabling the building design to incorporate the various services and construction processes required for the living architecture development before detail design and budgets are finalised.

Who should attend?
Horticulturalists, landscape architects and designers, engineers and other professionals involved in the design, construction or approval of green roof and wall systems.
