Event description

Certified B Corporations are for-profit companies that use the power of business to build a more inclusive and sustainable economy. They meet the highest verified standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. To date, there are more than 2,500 B Corps in 130 industries and 60 countries around the world.

Huddle Insurance became Certified as a B-Corporation in 2016, and have upheld their mission to use insurance as a force for good, ever since. Huddle's co-founders jump-started Huddle as a tech company, and through the use of technology, have since revolutionised and optimised the entire insurance process, saving Members their money and worry. Through their growth, Huddle have been able to maximise their contribution to the wider community, repurposing profits to support grassroots initiatives across Australia, and putting power back into the hands of their Member Council.

As part of B-Corp Month, Huddle invite you to their back to back documentary screening of Seed Indigenous Youth Climate Network's "Water Is Life" and Patagonia's "Takayna". The night will focus on climate justice, Aboriginal heritage and wildlife, and feature a Q+A panel with guest panellists from the films, and Sydney B-Corp community.

Get your ticket to join us for a night of learning and reflection around the power of business and community organising.
