Nidavellar is the land of Dwarves. A labyrinthine of subterranean complex of mines and forges. The dwarves are master smiths and craftsmen. To Øl are masters of the brewing world and have opened their city to prove it: To Øl City. We pretty stoked to be tapping some of their latest crafts including their new kegged cocktails!

To Øl is a young Danish craft beer brewery founded in 2010. When To Øl was founded, they were sick of hundred years old breweries claiming territory only due to old age – instead wanted to give beer some youth. At To Øl craft contemporary beers. Brewing a wide range of potent, provocative, fresh and floral beers. Not to forgetting hoppy, balanced and complex beers both light, dark, strong and simple brews. Never compromising on taste and balance and constantly pushing the boundaries of great beer-crafting.

As To Øl has grown they realised how interconnected the drinks industry was outside beer. From this understanding and a desire to collaborate and directly work with some of the best in the food and drink industry they created To Øl City.

To Øl City is even more than its state of the art brewery. More than its barrel ageing and wild beer program. More than its distillery. More than its 150,000 sqm of land. It is becoming a collective of the most talented craft producers in Denmark and the world; giving us all the space and resources we need to make the best quality beverages possible, and demanding that they be made accessible to everyone.

THE BEERS

THE HAZE CRAZE - Dry hopped twice with Citra & Mosaic hops and fermented with a New England Ale strain. A 6% IPA just the way we like it – refreshing, hoppy, juicy and hazy.

ANY PORT SORT - Dark as the demon you accidentally summoned at your cousin’s Birthday party when you were nine, this stout is guaranteed to lift you off your chair and knock you sideways. A real 360 head-turner, one taste and you too will never want to return to the light

MALER BYEN ROD - Painting the town red: We think this name is apt for our 10.7% Belgian strong red ale with festive spices, since there is nothing reasonable, calm or civilized about this beer, and no town’s coat of paint will be safe if this is your choice of tipple

THE COCKTAILS
A new cocktail line from the people behind BRUS (To Øl City) is launching this spring. The name is Mikropolis Cocktails and the cocktails are brewed right here at the BRUS Brewery on fermentation tanks coming out on kegs, like you know it from your draught beer. We'll be tapping Rhubarb Crush, Grapefruit Spritzer and White Russian!
