Fashion Revolution Film Screening RiverBlue

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Join us on Wednesday 24 April for a private screening of RiverBlue.
During Fashion Revolution Week we want to take this opportunity to share the truth about how the fashion industry is playing a part in destroying our world's rivers.

Why? RiverBlue is the one documentary you need to see! We as consumers need to continue our education about the impacts denim has on the environment and the lives of the garment workers.

Did you know that:

* Over 1.2 billion jeans are produced annually worldwide.
* Approximately 450 million pairs of jeans are sold in the US per year, with over 70% of denim fabric production China, Indonesia, and other Asian markets.
* According to Levis, 1 pair of 501 jeans takes 920 gallons of water to make. That’s a lot of water!

Join us on Wednesday the 24th of April @ 6:30 pm for a 7 pm start

Location: Long Play, 318 St Georges Road North Fitzroy 3068

Cost: $10 Entry with $5 Donated to Fashion Revolution

Food and drinks will be available to purchase from the bar.
