This session provides an overview of internal and external research funding opportunities available to HDR students. It will help you determine how to find funding opportunities and how to write effective funding proposals, using the example of the VCs conference fund. The session includes a hands-on writing exercise in which students will draft parts of a proposal to fund their research.

Is there a sign in sheet on arrival?

Yes. Please ensure that you sign the registration sheet on arrival.

What if I can no longer attend, do I need to cancel?

Yes. Please contact the Researcher Development team at grs_rd@uts.edu.au for workshop cancellation.

If you fail to cancel your registration and are absent three or more times in a session, you will be suspended from the program for 1 year. You will be notified by email prior to your suspension being applied.

How will I know the location for this event if it is not confirmed yet?

You will be sent a reminder email approximately one week prior to the workshop. This will include the workshops location, date, time and anything you may need to know prior to the workshop.
