Looking for an experience that's always in season? We have one that's fresh for the picking...

Hosted by The Grounds Florals By Silva, join us in the Atrium for our spring fling workshop with pretty flowers, wine and cheeky pastries  - what more could you want?

Surrounded by an abundance of florals and foliage for inspiration, the class will walk you through the steps to creating your very own spring centerpiece. With over 20 years of experience, our floral team will run through everything you need to know from their signature style to flower care, colour and availability. 

Can't remember where you left your florist scissors? Never fear, we'll provide everything you need for the day and even let you take it home! Each attendee will leave with a kit that includes florist scissors, secateurs, rose strippers and more.

This class is suitable for all, with no floristry necessary. You will leave will a new-found knowledge of flowers, a beautiful centerpiece and the confidence to work with flowers.

  • A glass/ ceramic vessel filled with winter flowers styled by you! 
  • A floristry kit to take home including florist scissors, secateurs and rose strippers.

Nestled within the leafy laneways and canopies of The Grounds of Alexandria since 2012, The Grounds Florals By Silva is a hive of activity and energy that attracts devotees from all over Australia.  Regarded as not just the best florist in Alexandria, but a destination for lovers of flora, texture, design and colour.

Silva has been in the floral industry for almost 20 years and has developed a culture and philosophy around farm-fresh and locally sourced product.  With her team, she visits Sydney farms based in Kellyville, Oakdale and Glenorie each week, as well as Sydney Markets, to find flora treasures to delight and captivate her guests.

  • This class is suitable to all and no prior floristry experience is necessary.
  • Alcohol will only be provided to those 18 years and over. Proof of identity will be checked and needed to purchase further drinks.
  • This event will be hosted in the Atrium, located behind The Potting Shed and next to the florist shop.

  • Flowers will vary depending on what is seasonally available.
