Every Friday night from 5pm, Fishburners opens its doors to host Shark Tank style, Friday Night Pitches. We are a non for profit community of entrepreneurs that is dedicated to growing tech startups - and this is Australia's largest, most regular event in the ecosystem.

This particular event will be featuring a range of food and beverages startups, and so there will be plenty of free samples - including Nofo kombucha, MealPal (Fratelli pizza), N2 Extreme Gelato, Hungry Jacks The Rebel Whopper plant-based burgers made by v2food, CRANEL cranberry shots, Edible Bug Shop products, and Vybey ready-to-go drinks.

Our $10 entry price is directed back into the Fishburners community and covers your snacks, beer, wine and nonalcoholic beverages for the evening. The ticket booking fee will also be put toward Room to Read - our charity of choice.

If you're looking for inspiration to start a business, are keen to learn some pitch tips, or just want to find out what startups are new in Sydney, this is for you. It's a great event for current entrepreneurs or anyone interested in entrepreneurship but not sure where to start.

The event schedule for Friday Night Pitches is as follows:

• 5PM: Networking & drinks

• 5:30PM: Pitches begin. Grab a seat!

• 6:30PM-8PM (approx.): Networking

• 8PM: Event concludes
