Future Women X THE OUTNET Present: Next Generation Innovators Live Podcast

Future Women in partnership with THE OUTNET invite you to join us on 19 March in Sydney for a live recording of the Next Generation Innovators podcast. Hear from one of Australia’s most successful entrepreneurs Ava Matthews, Co-Founder of Ultra Violette, as she talks to Today’s Entertainment reporter, Brooke Boney, about how an idea was scaled into a global business and the ups and downs of running a start-up.

Every ticket includes wine, canapés plus an Ultra Violette Sheen Screen SPF30 Lip Balm and a Queen Screen sample and a special offer from our event partner THE OUTNET.

Doors will open at 5:30pm and the live recording of the Next Generation Innovators podcast will begin at 6:00pm.

Entrance to the Screening Room is two doors to right of the QT hotel entrance on Market Street.

About Ava Matthews
Ava Matthews is an experienced communications and marketing professional with a strong background in brand management and product development. A beauty obsessive, Ava has worked across PR, marketing, brand management, and product development for a range of international brands including Procter & Gamble, Elemis, Jurlique, Mecca Cosmetica, and Napoleon Perdis. She was most recently Head of Marketing at cult skincare brand Rationale.

Ava is a (very) proudly reformed sunscreen delinquent, now permanently coated in SPF50+ at all times.

About Ultra Violette
Ultra Violette’s Co-Founders Rebecca and Ava met during their time managing the signature-line portfolio of brands at MECCA Brands in Melbourne. After three years and 107 samples, what had started out as their weekend side-hustle became skinscreen specialist Ultra Violette: an Australian-made-and-tested brand dedicated to future-proofing Australian faces.

Ultra Violette launched in January 2019; first through ultraviolette.com.au, followed by an exclusive retail partnership with Adore Beauty. Within 12 months, Ultra Violette had launched into all Sephora stores in Australia and New Zealand as their first sunscreen brand. With a range of four face and body skinscreens and four lip balms, Ultra Violette currently sells one product every 15 minutes. 2020 will see further new product launches and international expansion.
