The Glennie School French Immersion Supporters Group is holding its annual Christmas Pudding Drive to support our Glennie French Immersion girls.

This is the perfect way to shop for all of your Christmas desserts and is also a good opportunity to purchase great Christmas gifts for staff, clients, friends and family.

The puddings and desserts are supplied by Pudding Lane (many people will know them from their past Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers stalls).

Orders close on Monday, 11 November at 10:00am.

Orders will be ready for collection from The Glennie One Stop Shop on Friday, 22 November from 12:00pm - 4:00pm.

Product information:

From an inherited prize-winning family recipe, these multi-award winning puddings are proudly hand-made in Newcastle Australia with the finest of 100% Australian vine fruits and select ingredients; fresh free range eggs, fresh butter, locally baked fresh bread (that we crumb), flour, spices and finest matured in oak brandy from the Barossa Valley.  Each and every pudding is individually mixed, weighed out and shaped, tied up in natural calico with string, boiled in the cloth using the traditional method for many hours in old style gas fired "coppers".  They are then hung individually on a line to naturally dry, age and mature,

Classic Christmas pudding:

Great Taste Gold Award 2009 and GOLD in the 2017 Sydney Royal Fine Food Show. The finest ingredients and 100% Australian vine fruits, individually hand-weighed and shaped, boiled in the cloth in the traditional method, hung on a line to dry, age and mature naturally.  Ingredients are GM Free, No Artificial; Colours, Flavours or Preservatives.

Gluten free pudding:

A traditional boiled-in-the-cloth, moist tasting Christmas Pudding, full of fruit for natural sweetness including fresh local free range eggs and rice flour without the gluten and no added sugar (and no artificial sweetener).  Ingredients are GM Free, no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, dairy free and lactose free.  Suitable for vegetarians.

Macadamia and brandy pudding:

Multi award winning uniquely Australian gourmet taste.  This has become our classic Australian pudding.  Hand selecting and combining the finest ingredients with organic macadamia nuts from Queensland and matured in Oak Brandy from the world famous Barossa Valley region of South Australia. No Artificial; Colours, Flavours or Preservatives.

Date and toffee:

Award Winner of the Australian Food Challenge Awards 2006 and UK Great Taste Awards 2009.  A luxuriously smooth sticky toffee taste to indulge in winter and for dinner parties all year round. Also great on a Cheese platter.

Triple chocolate / chocolate macadamia / chocolate and orange / chocolate rum and raisin:

First Launched in 2003, these are the Original dark Chocolate and fruit puddings still made by hand in the olde-fashioned way.  Ready to serve, hot or cold! A truly decadant indulgance, and a perfect gift idea.
