Event description

In this fireside Jordan Lewis (Deputy, Xero and Vend) will join David Jones (Pointzi, ThreatMetrix) to dig into his experiences on growth teams at these 3 successful startups (Deputy has now raised over US$110M). Real stories, not theories.

This Will Include:

  • Essentials of high impact growth teams
  • Optimizing signup-to-trial-to-paid conversion
  • Stories from A/B test and statistical significance
  • Balancing quick, “hacky” experimentation with methodical, refined changes
  • Much more.

Key Takeaways:

  • Rapid experimentation onboarding multiple personas
  • What is the best statistical significance measure for success/fail of A/B experiments
  • How to run growth in conjunction and outside product team cadence

About the Speakers

Jordan Lewis - Director of Growth, Deputy
Currently at Deputy, Jordan Lewis has helped form and scale high-impact growth teams across Australia. Previously, he was the Growth Hacking Team Lead at Xero, and Senior Product Manager at Vend. A husband and father of 2, he spends his spare time with family and looking for new additions to his record collection.

David Jones - Founder/CEO, Pointzi

David will be asking the questions; a product-obsessed founder whose last company, ThreatMetrix, exited for over $1B. His previous company exited to Surfcontrol (now Websense) and his current company is Pointzi, which delivers a codeless SaaS Onboarding solution for mobile and web applications.
