Haymarket HQ Inspiration Series is a forum for entrepreneurial leaders to impart their stories. The Q&A format will explore how these inspirational entrepreneurs ‘created’ success, the importance of leadership, innovation and their personal journeys.

We are partnering with the Professional Development Forum and presenting you with incredible mathematician Eddie Woo.

Eddie Woo is an Australian mathematician best known for his YouTube channel, WooTube, which has a staggering 500,000 subscribers and more than 25 million views worldwide. Woo has recently released his first book entitled Woo's Wonderful World of Maths which has already proven a great success. He has also been awarded Australia’s Local Hero in the 2018 Australian of the Year awards, as well as a plethora of teaching and innovation achievements.

More about Eddie:

Eddie Woo teaches mathematics at Cherrybrook Technology High School and is the Leader of Mathematics Growth for the NSW Department of Education. He uploads his everyday classroom lessons to his Youtube channel, Wootube, which has a significant worldwide audience. In 2018, he was named Australia’s Local Hero in the Australian of the Year Awards and listed as one of the Top 10 Teachers in the world by the Global Teacher Prize. He is the host of ABC’s children’s series Teenage Boss and his first book, Woo’s Wonderful World of Maths, is published by Pan Macmillan.
