PLEASE JOIN THE HEAL & HUSTLE CLIMATE CHANGE REVOLUTION
As the co-founders of Collab4Good, we stand with our community and share in the multitude of emotions we are all experiencing in the wake of our current bushfire crisis and the broader global climate emergency.
Please join us for Heal & Hustle, a day of healing, recovery and action planning on Sunday 16th February 2020 from 10am until 3:30pm at our home in the Healthy Living Precinct (16 Hindmarsh Ave, Welland).
You can view our extraordinary program here - the morning will be spent together as a group, starting with Rosemary Wanganeen who will take us through the Seven Phases to Integrating Loss and Grief© with the focus on the word ‘integrating’ loss and grief and not to seek ‘closure’.
The afternoon will consist of a number of 45-minute breakout sessions run by volunteer activators who are sharing their skills and expertise with us on a variety of topics designed to help our community to heal, recover and plan for action around the bushfire crisis and the broader climate emergency.
We will also have a collection point for certain goods that can be donated to the bushfire emergency – please bring a bag of sweet potatoes which will be taken to feed starving KI kangaroos and wallabies on Left Field Farm Sanctuary. Treasure Boxes will also be taking donations of 'Jocks, Socks and Undies' (all new please) for children affected by the bushfires.
This is a community event in which we are all volunteering our time and resources in support of our community and our planet. A small entry fee of $10 will help to cover some essential costs, with children 15 years and under welcome at no charge.
We will ask everyone to bring a plate to share for lunch. Cold storage space is available to keep food cold until lunchtime. This will also be a zero waste event so please bring your water bottles and keep cups.
