Healing Circle for Women
Date and Time
Dear Women you are invited to hold space for each other in a sacred healing circle.
This event is for women who have experienced miscarriage, termination, loss of a child or traumatic birth.
Let us offer you a safe, confidential place to share, grieve, process and heal.
The freedom to express it all.
Come with your daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, or come on your own. You will be held in the circle of women, we will be opening the circle, meditating, deep sharing, creating a healing ritual, sharing in a light lunch a group craft project and giving back to Mother Earth.
This circle is limited to 20 women to allow time to share.
Please bring a plate of fruit to share.
A guide to the Red Tent Healing Circle:
Whatever is shared in the Red Tent stays in the Red Tent!!
Privacy is of the utmost importance; this is a safe place to share and no matter what you say it will go no further than the tent.
We practice respectful listening and non-judgment.
We do not offer advice during the sharing circle, but if there is something you think that could be useful to someone who has shared during the sharing circle after the circle has closed would be a good time to let her know.
The Healing Circle is a private event, and emotions are released. Be respectful of this by not touching, hugging and bearing in mind that it is unnecessary to approach the person in the future and ask them ‘how they are going with it’ unless initiated by the person who has shared.
About Red Tent Australia:
Red Tent Australia has been created as a non-profit association to support women's gatherings around Australia. Our goal is Red Tents in every neighbourhood. If you would like to start a Red Tent we are here to help. If you are already running a group or if you would like to find one in your location, let us know so we can support you.
What women want is CONNECTION. Not on a superficial level, but REAL connection and support.
The Red Tent is a place for women to feel that connection and to offer and receive that support.
We want to help women to free themselves from the isolation of today’s modern world and find their tribe.
Red Tent Australia is a non-profit organisation with the aim to connect, collaborate, and create a community of strong and educated women in a supportive & nurturing environment
We establish community networks and support between women by hosting local gatherings, and events in what we call “Red Tents”.
Red Tent Australia is not religious, we include anyone who identifies as female from 11 years + from all walks of life.
It’s our hope for everyone who enters each Red Tent to experience a sense of belonging, sisterhood, and strength that stays with them from then on.
