Event description

NSW Australia
Join us for a transformative 3 days immersed in the yoga of sound... take a delightful dive into Sanskrit mantra and refined kīrtan set to Indian rāgas!

“Revelation follows ecstasy; all knowledge that a book can never contain and that a language can never express, nor a teacher teach, comes to him of itself [through music].”
– Hazrat Inayat Khan, Sufi Musician

The eternal thread that connects creation with creator is sacred sound. All mystic traditions concur, and the direct, tangible, blissful path of pure vibration is accessible to all!
No dogma, and no experience required; this retreat is simply an invitation into the heart-opening, timeless practices of mantra and music.

❤️ Find your heart’s voice and sing!
❤️ Awaken your Sanskrit mantra chanting with the living vibrations of each alphabet and more precise, refined pronunciation.
❤️ Understand the tantric, non-dual philosophy of the Sanskrit alphabet as a language of creation.
❤️ Explore the tones of Indian music (Sa, Re, Ga, etc.) and enjoy Indian rāga-based devotional songs.
❤️ Use the magical power of mantra to master your mind, transform old habits, and illuminate new potentials for your life.

From Thursday Evening 1 November to Sunday afternoon 4th November.
The retreat will take place at Shanti Mission Abode of Peace, which is 2 hours North of Sydney near Newcastle in the small town of Cooranbong.

About Anandra
Anandra George is a pioneer in the global yoga community, re-introducing the ancient practice of sound as a fundamental practice. She created the world’s first registered yoga teacher training based entirely on the transformational power of sound (including Sanskrit, mantra, Indian classical vocal meditation, and non-violent communication for everyday life). American by birth, Indian by soul, and global citizen by expression, she helps people transform their limiting belief systems and cultivate their most fulfilling contribution to the world. She divides her time between India, Japan, and Hawaii, and teaches mantra workshops and intensives worldwide. For more than 20 years, she’s been on “the path” and has been teaching and seeing private clients globally since 1999.
