Event description

Holistic evaluation and treatment of Interstitial Cystitis: with international expert Nicole Cozean

The Pelvic Hub is proud to be bringing over Nicole Cozean from the United States to run a 2-day course in Sydney.

Nicole Cozean is a leading expert on Interstitial Cystitis and pelvic pain. She has her doctorate in Physiotherapy and an undergraduate degree in Physiology and Neuroscience. She completed a Fellowship in urogyenocological physiotherapy and has received more than 300 hours of pelvic health continuing education.

She is the founder of PelvicSanity, which she started to help restore sanity for patients in an insane world of conflicting diagnoses and ineffective treatments.

She's the author of the award-winning book The Interstitial Cystitis Solution, the first physiotherapist to serve on the Interstitial Cystitis Association Board of Directors, and on the Prostate.net Medical Advisory Board. In 2017 Nicole was named IC Physiotherapist of the Year.

Nicole created the first continuing education course on interstitial cystitis, teaching other physiotherapists how to manage the condition through the prestigious Herman & Wallace Institute in the United States. And she has written extensively, publishing papers on pelvic floor dysfunction, interstitial cystitis, and patient care.
