IGS Community Learning Program 2019: Tuning In To Kids

Tuning in to Kids is a six-week parenting program for parents of children in Kindergarten to Year 4, presented by Rachael Spitzer. 

Would you like to learn how to:

• be better at talking with your child?
• be better at understanding your child?
• help your child learn to manage their emotions?
• help to prevent behavioural problems in your child?
• teach your child to deal with conflict?

Tuning in to Kids shows you how to help your child develop emotional intelligence. Children with higher emotional intelligence: 

• have greater success with making and keeping friends
• have better concentration at school
• are more able to calm down when upset or angry
• tend to have fewer childhood illnesses.

Emotional intelligence may be a better predictor of academic and career success than IQ!

• Wednesday 13 February from 6 to 8pm
• Wednesday 20 February from 6 to 8pm
• Wednesday 27 February from 6 to 8pm
• Wednesday 6 March from 6 to 8pm
• Wednesday 13 March from 6 to 8pm
• Wednesday 20 March from 6 to 8pm

Please note that parents wishing to attend this course are asked to be available to attend all session dates in order to be eligible to participate.
