Event description

Graphic design is managed by three main adobe programs. 

Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. 

Whether you want to use these programs for fun or work a thorough understanding of them will help you achieve the results you need. 

This workshop aims to provide a brief introduction to the many elements of InDesign: 

An explanation of the indesign environment and the chance to create some basic graphic design work. 

Students will learn the basics of indesign including page sizing and layout, working with shapes and text, use of layers. 

Students will create a 2 sided business card and logo. 

About the trainer: 

Xavier Beau-Davis has an extensive training and teaching background. 

He has taught in varied environments from corporate to university including TAFE and private colleges. 

He has worked for the last 20 years in the graphic design industry in both print and multimedia and successfully runs his own agency.
