Keep Australia Beautiful NSW and Cessnock City Council will be hosting the 2019 Sustainable Communities - Tidy Towns Awards Weekend to reward and recognise the achievements of our awards program participants.

The weekend will commence on Friday 1st Nov with a Welcome BBQ at the Cessnock Men’s Shed (registration from 5.30pm). On Saturday morning at the Cessnock Performing Arts Centre we will present some of the category winners along with some inspiring case studies to be followed by lunch. After lunch there is an opportunity to join one of four fabulous tours around Cessnock, featuring the Hunter Region’s Food and Wine, Natural Wonders, Historic Wollombi or the Kurri Kurri Murals and Town Centre.

The festivities will continue on Saturday evening with the announcement of the remaining category winners and the overall winner at the awards presentation dinner at Pokolbin Hall. The weekend will wrap up with a breakfast on Sunday morning at Poppethead Park, Kitchener.
