LBG Conference 2019 - Impact: Beyond 2030

Is your company ready to deliver improved social impact over the coming decade?
With a ‘to do’ list for the world set by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, but with only limited progress, it has never been more important for businesses, government and community organisations to work together to measure, report on and deliver meaningful impact.
Presented by Corporate Citizenship and kindly hosted by Suncorp, the 2019 LBG Conference, Impact: Beyond 2030, will explore how companies are transforming their businesses to put impact at the core of their social investment programs. It will also highlight how organisations are using measurement to maximise the social impact of their strategies with a focus on the 10 actions for business identified by Corporate Citizenship in 2019.
Over two days, leaders from the social impact community will explore how existing social investment and social impact programs, as well as new routes to achieving impact, are part of the shift required to overcome the world’s most pressing future challenges.
Day 1: Tuesday 19 November 2019
1-5pm: Impact: Beyond 2030 - Academic and industry knowledge exchange
This knowledge exchange provides a unique opportunity for a small number of academics (only six spots available) to share their research with industry leaders. The industry leaders will also gain unique insights and help shape the future of research in the area from communications to measurement to strategy. In small groups, participants will hear from each of the academics and then participate in an interactive review process, drawing on their industry experience to provide feedback and insights.

5.30-7pm: Future of impact launch – a new era of impact begins
Join LBG members and other leaders from the social impact community for the launch of a redefined and extended framework for community impact measurement, the ‘new LBG’. Be the first to learn about changes to the measurement framework and discover how new routes to impact will be measured in the future. The official launch will also provide an opportunity to network with colleagues ahead of the conference on day two and hear insights from the academic and industry knowledge exchange.

8.30am for 9.30am - 4.30pm (followed by networking until 6pm): 2019 LBG Conference, Impact: Beyond 2030, kindly hosted by Suncorp
The 2019 LBG Conference, kindly hosted by Suncorp and presented by Corporate Citizenship, has become a must attend for all industry professionals and this year will include a mixture of panel discussions on topics including governance for impact, local and international social impact stories, and insights from the latest LBG data. The aim of the program is to help companies get impact ready for the next decade and learn how the 10 actions for business identified by Corporate Citizenship can benefit their organisation.
