Event description

LMBDW is having our very first CONFERENCE!!

4 years ago, we (Jane Lu & Gen George) were in a situation where we felt like we were alone in business. We had no one to be honest and frank with about the good times and the really bad times. There was no network of people who called it what it was and were there with an open mind to collaborate and support each other. So we decided to catch up for a glass of wine to #backabitchup. Then the next catch up, we had 30 other women come along. Now in 20+ cities around the world and 116k members - it certainly feels like time we had a global catch up.

Since LMBDW started in Sydney, we will be having our first global conference at none other than Fishburners Co-working Space, 11 York Street, Sydney CBD.

What to Expect:
Hosted by LMBDW founders Jane & Gen, we will have a line up of amazing speakers with hands on workshops to impact your business today

Think the incredible Jodie Fox - Co Founder of Shoes of Prey and other Experts from Facebook, MYOB etc to directly impact your business TODAY. So bring your laptop and of course be ready for a wine!

To make this all possible, we are partnering with our long term - work wife - MYOB :)

When: 1st February 2020
Where: Fishburners, L2, 11 York Street, Sydney CBD
Who: We are an inclusive group and everyone is invited.

Doors open: 8am - Coffee Available thanks to MYOB
Speakers Start: 9am
Networking & Wine: 5pm

Supporting The Hunger Project: As always we will be supporting our long time partner THP. Our aim is to support great causes and to have an impact. All profits will be donated to THP and we hope to announce LMBDW's collective contribution on the evening. If you would like to make a separate personal donation, please head to: https://THP.org.au

The Hunger Project’s goal is to end world hunger by 2030. Our approach is different – we see people living in hunger as the solution, not the problem. We shift the mindsets of women and men so they transform into leaders for the sustainable end of hunger. Then, through our programs such as education, micro finance, agriculture and health, we empower people with the skills, knowledge and resources they need to break the poverty cycle themselves.
