Lodge Harold Herman Unity's annual Trivia Night is coming up on the 23rd of November at the Laurelbank Masonic Centre.
Last year we raised $2,000 for our nominated charity, The Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing, thanks to your generosity and participation in the evening.
This year, we are hoping to raise funds for Bear Cottage.
Bear Cottage is the only children’s hospice in NSW, providing respite and end-of-life care for children with terminal illnesses and their families in a medically supported ‘home away from home’. For children in their care there is no happy ending or miracle cure. Bear Cottage gives them as much love, care, laughter, fun, and support, as they need.
We have received an “InterAction Grant” from Masonicare, the peak charitable arm of the United Grand Lodge of New South Wales, which will match our fundraising dollar-for-dollar to a maximum of $3,000. This means that if we reach our fundraising target we will be able to donate $6,000 to Bear Cottage to support their work bringing light and comfort to families in their darkest hour.
More importantly, this promises to be a fantastically entertaining evening with great raffle and auction prizes, engaging trivia questions, and bonhomie that is only possible through an evening with friends!
Tickets are $40 per person or $400 for a table of ten, and include a three course meal and soft drink, alcohol can be purchased on the night
