About the Speaker

Surendra Chaplot and Venkatesh Saha are responsible for bringing TransferWise’s debit card to APAC starting with Australia and New Zealand.

Surendra (Product, Cards for Asia Pacific) has over 7 years of experience in the internet industry, leading agile product teams across India and South East Asia. Prior to TransferWise, he founded 2 companies, led and scaled products across three startups. At TransferWise, he oversees product development across APAC region.

Venkatesh, (Head of Expansion, APAC & Middle East) at TransferWise, has over 12+ years of experience across Asia and Africa with a specialty in fintech, financial services, management consulting and government. He plays an instrumental role at TransferWise and leads the team in the opening of new currency routes, markets and products.
