Nurse Conference: Melanoma in Practice

Designed for all nurses who care for melanoma patients, this one-day conference will help you to better understand the patient experience and give you practical insights based on the latest research in melanoma diagnosis and treatment. 

The program will include presentations from experts in their field on: 

  • Initial assessment and diagnosis
  • Surgical management
  • Systemic therapies
  • Advancements in treating brain metastases
  • Supportive care including nutrition and psychology

Note: Registration opens at 8am with the session commencing at 8:30am sharp. Coffee will be served on arrival. Lunch and refreshments will be served throughout the day.

Getting there:

Onsite parking is available under the building (enter via Rocklands Road) and we will validate parking for $20 for conference attendees. There is limited street parking in nearby streets.  

The closest railway station is Waverton, although the Institute is also close to Wollstonecraft, North Sydney and St Leonards stations. Bus services running on the Pacific Highway are frequent and stop only a short walk from the Poche Centre.
