Enter Memory Palace, looking 750,000 years into the past...

Skyglass return to Hastings Cave on March 14th, 2020,
weaving narratives of memory and deep time with instruments and voice in the natural cathedral resonance of the main chamber. Their performance will take place beside incredible stalactites, stalacmites and moonmilk formations.

Anne Norman (shakuhachi, vocals)

Bringing together influences of western classical, Celtic folk, Japanese Zen and
finger style acoustic steel string, Emily, Anne and Yyan create beautiful melodies and harmonies. Skyglass performed to sold-out audiences beneath the stalactites of Hastings cave in 2017 and at the Cygnet folk festival in 2020, receiving a standing ovation.

Venue Newdegate Cave, Hastings

Please note it is a constant temperature of nine degrees in the cave and it may be damp. Bring warm clothes. There are over a hundred steps down to the performance site inside the cave. BYO cushion or yoga mat to sit on.
