From Argentina joins us Chancha via Circuito, one of South America’s leading electronic music ambassadors. His distinctive music encapsulates andean musical roots with african rhythms and electronic sounds, bending the traditional spectrum into his own interpretation. We are grateful to host him in Sydney on his world tour for the release of his latest album Bienaventuranza (Wonderwheel Recordings) out past June. Pedro’s touch brings visions from the past and nostalgic feelings for those travellers that come from or have been to his part of the world.
And nonetheless from Germany, we are delighted to bring Martha van Straaten to our Australian shores. Her ever evolving sound is a force behind the emerging multi-cultural electronic music movement. There is no doubt her unique spirit and colourful style will make this is an unforgettable event.
Bringing a sound system to an urban oasis in the middle of the inner-west, the Mixagi crew are ready to deliver another memorable experience. Together with one of our favourite local curators of alternative latinamerican electronic music, Señor Bolivar, we have a whole day devoted to our transcontinental musical journey.
